PAPER MOUNTAINS

A series of abstract photography works that use non-figurative images, colour and form to evoke sense and memory. Exploring the small and humble, using paper, water, and fragile glass, the images suggest strength and timelessness.

This series was shown at Artlink, Hull, from 11th August to 11th September 2016.

Loved it, macro landscapes in swathes of colour, reminded me of Rothko. Surreal and serene, really nice work.

Paper Mountains:

interactive film display

This is a film made using images from the series, that was projected as part of the exhibition in 2016. The film was projected onto a blank, white wall, enabling viewers to walk through the projections, becoming part of the form and colour, interacting with the images and the light.
